SplitCrew is intentionally simple: there are no accounts, no passwords, and no tracking beyond what's needed to make the app work.
When you create or join a crew, we store: the crew code you chose, the names you and your crew members enter, and the outings/expenses you add (description, amount, who paid, who it's split among). That's it — no email, no phone number, no payment details ever pass through SplitCrew.
Anyone who has your crew's code or share link can view and add to that crew's data. There's no login because the code itself is the access control — treat it like you would a shared document link.
Data lives in a hosted database (Supabase). It isn't sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything other than showing your crew's own expenses back to your crew.
Since there's no account system, we can't identify "your" data individually — it's tied to the crew code. If you'd like a crew's data removed, contact us with the crew code and we'll delete it.
